Elevate Conference for PK-2nd Teachers
Elevate; Take Teaching to New Heights conferences are held in Dallas, Phoenix, and Nashville. This year Teachers of Color Matter will be a vendor for the event hosted in Phoenix and Dallas. Teacher of Color Matter Merchandise will be offered for purchase and information on TOCM retreats and workshops will be available.
Association of Two-Way and Dual Immersion Education (ATDLE)
Teachers of Color is an annual sponsor of the ATDLE conference. TOCM will be sponsoring a vendor table and offering all of our wellness resources for teachers of color in both Spanish and English. Dr. Heather Michel will also be presenting her signature wellness retreat: The Inspired Teacher; Five Actions that Healed Me.
Elevate and ENergize; A Wellness REtreat by TOCM
Elevate and Energize is a in-person wellness retreat hosted by Teachers of Color Matter in San Diego, CA. Elevate and Energize is designed to build community, elevate TOC experiences, and energize teachers for the new year. The retreat is a three day event and includes three speakers, a cocktail hour, socializing, and a beach breakfast. Registration and more information to follow. California Teacher REsidency Lab ANnual Symposium
California Teacher Residency Lab hosts an annual end of year symposium. This year Teachers of Color Matter will be a sponsor for the event hosted at the Museum of Tolerance in Los Angeles, CA. Teacher of Color Merchandise will be available and information on TOCM retreats in workshops will be available.
